I’m sharing some personal news.
Today marks a significant change not just for me, but for the company I co-founded, Josef.
It’s with optimism, excitement, and more than a hint of sadness that I announce my decision to step down and transition away from my day-to-day responsibilities at the company.

If you know me, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I thrive when I’m outside of my comfort zone, learning and growing.
Starting Josef with Tom and Sam seven years ago was one of those moments of excitement where we took the plunge and dove into building, launching, fundraising, and scaling.
Since then, we’ve built a company that stands proud with two innovative products, a global customer base, and a brilliant team.
Now Josef steps into an exciting new phase of expansion and growth, and it’s clear that our efforts have set a strong foundation for the future. I’m so proud of what we have achieved together.
Nonetheless, my ultimate goal as a co-founder was to always grow and sustain Josef beyond my involvement. Now, knowing that the company’s in capable hands, it’s time for me to delve into something new. The decision hasn’t been easy, but I believe in constantly pushing boundaries and exploring one’s limits.
As I take this step, my belief in Josef’s success and impact is stronger than ever, and I’ll always be cheering for it. Always.
My last day will be at the end of March and beyond that, I don’t have anything locked in, but I’m excited to explore the unfamiliar again and hopefully spend some quality time on a beach surfing. If you know of any exciting projects – please reach out!
I’ll forever be grateful to my co-founders Tom Dreyfus (CEO) and Sam Flynn (COO) for their collective leadership and support. With the help of our Product and Engineering team, co-led by Sebastian Thiele (Senior Product Lead) and Marc Lee (Head of Engineering), I’m excited to watch the company reach new heights.
To everyone at Josef, thank you for your trust, support, and the incredible journey we’ve all shared. Here’s to Josef’s continued success and embracing the adventures ahead.
