Kate Sherburn, Who Gives A Crap’s legal beagle (Head of Legal), is a big believer in the company’s “profit-for-a-purpose” model. For every sale of Who Gives A Crap’s environmentally friendly bathroom paper products, 50% of the profits are donated to help build toilets and provide safe water for people in need.
It’s an incredible mission, and a significant reason efficiency and scalability are key to helping her team make the biggest impact. That’s why Sherburn sought to partner with Josef to cut down on repetitive processes and give back valuable time to staff.
Finding the right tech solution to meet their needs felt like searching for a needle in a haystack. After months of demonstrations and product trials, Kate identified what they really needed was “systems and tools” that talked to each other and connected with a tool like Josef that enabled the team to self-serve.
For Sherburn, repetitive tasks like NDAs and simple agreements were an obvious starting point to pursue the nirvana of automating legal services and helping their internal clients self-serve their legal needs.
